Characteristics of a New Disciple -1

Our Lord Jesus said that a tree is known by its fruits. A good tree bears good fruit and a bad tree of course bad fruits. When we are planted by the streams of living water of life definitely our lives shall also begin to manifest effortlessly the fruits of the kingdom of God. So, a new believer of the kingdom is supposed to bear certain characteristics of the kingdom not merely in words but in the manifestation of it in power.

When a New Disciple starts living these characteristics then truly he becomes the light of the world the city on a hill for every tribe and tongue, people and nations to come to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his life will truly be a living epistle.

Today we are going to see some of the basic characteristics of the New Disciples or the New Species in Christ Jesus.

Characteristics of the New Disciple


1. The New Disciple is born of Heaven. Therefore Heaven is more Real to Him than earth.

2. The New Disciple is on a mission on the earth. The mission is to bring Heaven to earth and not to just leave the earth to heaven.

3. The New Disciple lives in heaven and lives on earth at the same time. For as he is about his Fathers business on earth, he is also with his heavenly family in heaven.

4. The New Disciple chooses to step into the Heavenly dimension via the Kingdom of God within him by faith, since Jesus is His door and the way.

5. The New Disciple learns to be a good soldier and exercises his spiritual senses to become an effective ambassador of the Kingdom.

6. Jesus is the prototype of how a New Disciple should be on the earth and look like.

7. The New Disciple is not only a friend, son but Servant of the King and he's is a king, and priest.

8. The New Disciple has a mindset to rule and to bring everything under the dominion of the Kingdom  of God.

9. The New Disciple is the gateway of Heaven on earth. He is the answer to bring solution into his world. He is the one-stop shop that people can look to.

10. The New Disciple sees the blue print of His Fathers plan and executes it on the earth.

The Door

John chapter 10 is a great chapter  to read, discover and meditate on some very important keys that can unlock us into the supernatural realm. You know when we examine closely  the ministry of our Lord we would see that he was loved by the multitudes who were drawn to Him for His simplicity to make the Kingdom and its resources available to them.
