How to get a Revelation from the Word?

One of the realities of knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior is that God invades our lives and makes our heart His residence. We become the gateway of heaven to invade our world. The process of transformation starts from within and progresses until we are filled with His fullness.

I have found that one of the greatest hindrances to us advancing in our spiritual lives is a lack of revelation of the Word. A lot of head knowledge can never replace the Knowledge that comes by God's Revelation to us through His Word. Revelation means to Uncover.

Revelation does not come by only reading the Word, although reading has its own benefits. We need to Hear God's voice. When people had God-encounters in the Bible the common denominator had always been that they heard the voice of God speaking to them or had some manifestation of His presence. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Hearing Gods voice is non-negotiable to having a dynamic relationship with God our Father.

We have the potential to hear his Voice loud and clear when we meditate His word. Allowing the Seed of the word to be sown into our hearts and nurturing them until they break out in revelation is a foundational principle. No wonder God told Joshua to meditate His word day and night if he had any intentions to prosper. You know God is not going to force us to get a revelation from Him. It should be our desire and passion for a relationship with Him that should cause us to develop this intimacy and to Hear His Voice.

So the secret to walking by revelation is to sow God's  word, nurture it by meditating until it springs forth as a revelation from our hearts. When revelation comes, Faith also comes to accomplish God's will and purposes for our lives.

Will we take time and develop the habit of meditating  God's word and keep at it until we begin to see fruit in our lives? Psalm 1:2-3.

'Everyday' the new Sunday

Radical New Disciple Thinking -1 : Our Lord is calling out His people to come out of the Sunday Christianity mentality.  The real Christianity happens outside the four walls, manifesting his kingdom at home, at school, at the office, in your business, at the mall and on the streets. Jesus wants to be made visible every where. Unfortunately the lukewarm church says come in and stay in, but Jesus says go out into all the world and make disciples. He wants everyone to know His unconditional love, forgiveness and experience His power. Remember the New Disciple Sunday is all about bringing Jesus into your world everyday. Come out my people out of this bondage that has limited you. He is calling His people to step out in courage and set the captives free. Heal the sick, raise the dead, heal the brokenhearted, cast out demons so that all will know that Jesus is real. Will you take Jesus at His word and do what He says? Oh New Disciple you have been called to greatness, loving ...

The Door

John chapter 10 is a great chapter  to read, discover and meditate on some very important keys that can unlock us into the supernatural realm. You know when we examine closely  the ministry of our Lord we would see that he was loved by the multitudes who were drawn to Him for His simplicity to make the Kingdom and its resources available to them. He bridged Heaven and earth by demonstrating the Kingdom of God. He was hated by another group, of course you know who they are, the religious blokes, the Pharisees and Sadusees. These guys were mad at Jesus for making it so easy for people to partake in the riches of God's Kingdom. While they were busy engaged in accusing, threatening, condeming plotting and politicking to sabotage His mission, Jesus went about doing good, doing the works of His Heavenly Father. Jesus was very forthright with them and exposed their evil intentions to discourage people  from partaking in the Kingdom. Sadly the Christendom is filled with thes...

Characteristics of a New Disciple -1

Our Lord Jesus said that a tree is known by its fruits. A good tree bears good fruit and a bad tree of course bad fruits. When we are planted by the streams of living water of life definitely our lives shall also begin to manifest effortlessly the fruits of the kingdom of God. So, a new believer of the kingdom is supposed to bear certain characteristics of the kingdom not merely in words but in the manifestation of it in power. When a New Disciple starts living these characteristics then truly he becomes the light of the world the city on a hill for every tribe and tongue, people and nations to come to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his life will truly be a living epistle. Today we are going to see some of the basic characteristics of the New Disciples or the New Species in Christ Jesus. Characteristics of the New Disciple 1. The New Disciple is born of Heaven. Therefore Heaven is more Real to Him than earth. 2. The New Disciple is on a mission on the earth. The mission ...
