Torn Veil - Defeating Death and Disease

Hi New Disciple, we are continuing the 'Torn Veil' theme for a few more days.

We were discussing how the Glory of God quickens the dead back to life. Today another story from the Old Testament found in 2 Kings 13. To cut the story short  Elisha's bones quickens a dead body back to life. Now you are asking me a question and I knew it was coming. So you are asking me if Elisha's bones quickened a dead person to life then why did he die in the first place? Thanks for asking that brilliant question. Let me give you an example, lets say a person owned a pharmacy and one day he got very sick to the point of death and had no knowledge of a medicine sitting on his shelf that had the curative ability to heal him? Please tell me what good the medicine would do just by sitting there unless it was accessed and used? Zilch I suppose. In the same way we fail, not because there is no solution but because we are ignorant or unbelieving of it.  Elisha had the potential to live like Elijah but sadly did not tap into the power that was in him.

God is not responsible for our ignorance and unbelief, but we are. We have the resurrection glory residing within us that can sustain us and supply us with abundant life. We can choose not to die of sickness if we get a revelation of the glory within us. Death and sickness has indeed lost their sting. The dead raising glory, the resurrection power has been placed into our spirit and its our responsibility to get a revelation, believe, develop and release it to meet our need. Today, we see the sad plight of the Church. A large percentage of the Christendom choose hospitals to meet their healing needs rather than God's healing power .
We cannot blame the  nominal Christian since he has not been taught the whole counsel of God neither has he seen it demonstrated in the Church.

In John 11 you will read the beautiful story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. I remember some powerful statements our Lord made. He said "Mary did you not know that I am the resurrection and the life whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. I find Jesus did not mince words. He meant what he said. Today big head theologians still dont believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and hence write 'spiritual books' to justify sickness and support their unbelief. My friend if we do not see the light in the Word we too will stumble with unbelief; faith will not operate in our lives when we really want to see a manifestation of God's glory.

The one thing required of us now  is to get rid of the religious, traditional and theological junk fed to us systematically and as a New Disciple receive the sincere milk and meat of God's word. Get a revelation by meditating on the scriptures and faith will come aside to help you and me to bring about the required manifestation.

Torn Veil series will continue in my next blog. Please feel free to leave your comments below.

See you soon!

Characteristics of the New Disciple - 2

Characteristics of the New Disciple (continued) 11. The normal things a New Disciple does: He heals the sick, he casts out demons, he receives all kinds of communication from heaven like visions, dreams he does creative miracles, he walks on water, he raises the dead, he multiplies provision, he is transported by faith  and accomplishes kingdom work. He can visit and enjoy the communion of saints in the spirit. The New Disciple is ministered by his fellow servants the Holy angels and the cloud of witnesses who are constantly ther to help him for they are part of his team. 12. The New Disciples's DNA is constantly getting transformed to resemble Jesus and like Jesus be transfigured into His likeness with the brightness of His glory. Other than that he is so familiar with Heaven and the family in heaven. 13. The New Disciple walks with eyes opened to both realms, earth and heaven. 13. The New Disciple is the channel for Gods glory to flow out through his spirit , soul ...

How to get a Revelation from the Word?

One of the realities of knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior is that God invades our lives and makes our heart His residence. We become the gateway of heaven to invade our world. The process of transformation starts from within and progresses until we are filled with His fullness.  I have found that one of the greatest hindrances to us advancing in our spiritual lives is a lack of revelation of the Word. A lot of head knowledge can never replace the Knowledge that comes by God's Revelation to us through His Word. Revelation means to Uncover.  Revelation does not come by only reading the Word, although reading has its own benefits. We need to Hear God's voice. When people had God-encounters in the Bible the common denominator had always been that they heard the voice of God speaking to them or had some manifestation of His presence. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Hearing Gods voice is non-negotiable to having a...
