New Species


I named this blog New Disciple for the reason that I was so fascinated about the description given to God's children in 1 Cor 5:17. I liked Weymouths translation of that text,it goes like this - "So that if any one is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old state of things has passed away; a new state of things has come into existence.

So, the Old state was the first creation which fell short of displaying Gods glory. Now the New Creation which is Christ in us is far superior to the old state. You know as per this verse there was never a creation like us in the history of the creative acts of God. I don't know about you but I feel like doing a hip-hop around this verse right away. We are a new brand new creation with limitless possibilities that can make Adam beg to live in our generation. That's why our Lord could confidently say that we can do what He did and even greater works.

We will in the coming blogs learn more on this but the first step is always to get our thinking in line with the scriptures and ask the Lord for more revelation on this verse. Hosea our brother summed it so well in Hos 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of (revelation) knowledge.

Remember you are a New Disciple, a Brand New Species with limitless possibilities.

Hi New Disciple, we are continuing the 'Torn Veil' theme for a few more days. We were discussing how the Glory of God quickens the dead back to life. Today another story from the Old Testament found in 2 Kings 13. To cut the story short  Elisha's bones quickens a dead body back to life. Now you are asking me a question and I knew it was coming. So you are asking me if Elisha's bones quickened a dead person to life then why did he die in the first place? Thanks for asking that brilliant question. Let me give you an example, lets say a person owned a pharmacy and one day he got very sick to the point of death and had no knowledge of a medicine sitting on his shelf that had the curative ability to heal him? Please tell me what good the medicine would do just by sitting there unless it was accessed and used? Zilch I suppose. Look 2018

We are about to Step into 2018. Whats on God's calendar for 2018? As I asked this question, I sensed these thoughts immediately,  "look 18" so i turned to the Gospel of Luke Chapter 18. There was much in there but to condense it to a few points. 2018 will be a year when God's people will learn to release power from the secret place. Its a year our adversary will flee from an ordinary foot soldier. Its a year of acceleration. Its a year where the Church will have the opportunity to believe and receive the wonders of God with a child like faith and yet behave like sons. Its a year where the impossible will be made possible. Overall its good news for God's people even, when bad things can happen all over the world we can walk under the shadow of His wings. Step In and Step Out

What is Faith ?   This is my definition. Faith is Stepping In and Stepping Out into the reality freely given to us by God. So what is that reality? It is the Kingdom of God within us, since it's a reality and a dimensional place where God is and all the resources of Heaven is then that means we can go there whenever we want to. We can go to our Fathers house not when we die but now while we are still living.  Jesus said I see what my Father is doing and that I do. So, likewise the New Disciples too have access to this heavenly dimension. For example Jesus was talking to Nicodemus one evening and said that He is in heaven while still speaking to him. Jesus was in the flesh on the earth and He was also in Heaven at the same time. Our Lord was displaying the true nature of the Kingdom and the nature of the New Creation, to be at two places at the same time.
