Open my eyes

Physical Eyes are the visual faculties of the body to perceive things in the natural. But how many of us know that we have another set of eyes inside us to view the frequencies of the supernatural and the spiritual world around us?

These spiritual frequencies falls beyond the human visual spectrum and that's why we are unable to see beyond our physical world. Before the fall Adam and Eve had the visual capacity to see into both worlds the Spirit and the natural worlds. The human fall was the reason why this faculty started to get depleted and ultimately shut down. God though in His sovereignty gave this ability to a few of His chosen vessels for His purposes.

Now we can safely say its not normal for us as New Disciple to continue to live and walk only in the natural, infact  its very abnormal. In simple terms we are spiritually blind. As a New Creation born of Heaven these spiritual faculties are restored back to us however they need to be developed.

Our lord Jesus set the pattern or the model for us to pursue a relationship with God using this faculty. He said, "I see what my Father do and that I do". Jesus depended on Heavens guidance for His ministry on the earth. How can we as New Disciples be so foolish to think that we can love and have a relationship with God by just reading the Holy Bible? A true relationship is built with a person not just reading their  email everyday, but by meeting them, seeing them, interacting with them and spending quality time in their presence. This leads to a meaningful and a growing relationship with that person.

The keyword for today is to Know that we have another pair of eyes which is meant to view His Kingdom and pursue relationship with our Lord Jesus.

In the coming blogs we will learn how this faculty can be cranked up to it's proper use.

Until then let's pray like Apostle Paul, asking the Lord to open our eyes of our understanding to know Him intimately and His calling for us.

Characteristics of the New Disciple - 2

Characteristics of the New Disciple (continued) 11. The normal things a New Disciple does: He heals the sick, he casts out demons, he receives all kinds of communication from heaven like visions, dreams he does creative miracles, he walks on water, he raises the dead, he multiplies provision, he is transported by faith  and accomplishes kingdom work. He can visit and enjoy the communion of saints in the spirit. The New Disciple is ministered by his fellow servants the Holy angels and the cloud of witnesses who are constantly ther to help him for they are part of his team. 12. The New Disciples's DNA is constantly getting transformed to resemble Jesus and like Jesus be transfigured into His likeness with the brightness of His glory. Other than that he is so familiar with Heaven and the family in heaven. 13. The New Disciple walks with eyes opened to both realms, earth and heaven. 13. The New Disciple is the channel for Gods glory to flow out through his spirit , soul ...

Torn Veil - Defeating Death and Disease

Hi New Disciple, we are continuing the 'Torn Veil' theme for a few more days. We were discussing how the Glory of God quickens the dead back to life. Today another story from the Old Testament found in 2 Kings 13. To cut the story short  Elisha's bones quickens a dead body back to life. Now you are asking me a question and I knew it was coming. So you are asking me if Elisha's bones quickened a dead person to life then why did he die in the first place? Thanks for asking that brilliant question. Let me give you an example, lets say a person owned a pharmacy and one day he got very sick to the point of death and had no knowledge of a medicine sitting on his shelf that had the curative ability to heal him? Please tell me what good the medicine would do just by sitting there unless it was accessed and used? Zilch I suppose. In the same way we fail, not because there is no solution but because we are ignorant or unbelieving of it.  Elisha had the potential to live like E...

How to get a Revelation from the Word?

One of the realities of knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior is that God invades our lives and makes our heart His residence. We become the gateway of heaven to invade our world. The process of transformation starts from within and progresses until we are filled with His fullness.  I have found that one of the greatest hindrances to us advancing in our spiritual lives is a lack of revelation of the Word. A lot of head knowledge can never replace the Knowledge that comes by God's Revelation to us through His Word. Revelation means to Uncover.  Revelation does not come by only reading the Word, although reading has its own benefits. We need to Hear God's voice. When people had God-encounters in the Bible the common denominator had always been that they heard the voice of God speaking to them or had some manifestation of His presence. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Hearing Gods voice is non-negotiable to having a...
