Hello New Disciple I thought it would be good once again to remind myself and You of the vision of this ministry. In short it's stiring the average pew warming 'Sunday Christian' through this medium and bringing them to a place of understanding their true identity, the riches in Christ and the opportunity to demonstrate the Kingdom through their lives everyday.
But there is one major stumbling block and it's our limited, traditional, and unbiblically conservative thinking that has wreaked so much damage. The Church at large instead of developing spiritual giants have been producing enmasse spiritual dwarfs who need eternal care in the kindergarten Ministry of the modern Church. While we should have been teachers by now and demonstrating the Kingdom, we have become highly dependant on basic 'baby food' dished out to us on a weekly basis. This a sure recipe to become a religious zombie.
I'm sure a revival will break out and it's going to start from the front. Leaders who love darkness will be exposed by the light. Leaders who are building their own little kingdoms will be fired for lack of integrity. Leaders who are unwilling to teach the whole counsel of God will inherit only empty chairs. Leaders who love God and repent will have a new opportunity to partake in the new kingdom strategy for ministry. How else can the 5 fold prepare the saints to do exploits in this generation?
I believe God is about His agenda and is bringing in some marvellous changes to the way we function as a Church, and blessed are those who yield themselves to this move. There is coming a cleansing and a burning that will consume all our hidden agendas and expose us for our own good. This will lead to true repentance and repositioning for a major shift. Our relationship with Jesus Will have a major jump start first, and second the ministry opportunities will be unprecedented.
The starting point is the same as always, "Repent for the Kingdom of God is within you".
"We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: 'In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.' Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:1, 2).
